The Portuguese Government received a report from Parpública regarding the proposals submitted by Air France and Lufthansa to purchase TAP. Parpública is the public company responsible for managing the Portuguese State's stakes in companies.
The two European airlines, Air France and Lufthansa, submitted proposals to acquire the Portuguese airline TAP, with Parpública compiling these proposals in a document sent to the executive.
The executive led by Luís Montenegro will now analyze in detail the report received from Parpública. The evaluation process of the proposals is underway by the Government.
The executive of Luís Montenegro stated that, in due course, it will give its opinion on the document and the proposals received for the purchase of TAP, without yet indicating a specific date for a decision.
