The Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, arrived at the Regional Command of the PSP Madeira, in Funchal, with significant delay compared to the initially scheduled time. The visit to the command constituted the last official act in the Madeiran capital of the trip to the archipelago.
The visit to the PSP command in Funchal took place after a stop at the Chamber of Lobos Division, which also occurred outside the scheduled time.
The delay was mainly related to the long ceremonial session commemorating the 148th anniversary of the Command, which extended beyond what was planned, causing the discrepancy in relation to the schedule established for the minister's visit to the region.
