MAI admits more conditions in PSP stations in Madeira

The Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves, visited the facilities of the Public Security Police (PSP) in Madeira and expressed dissatisfaction with the state of the stations. During the visit, he acknowledged that more conditions requiring intervention were identified than initially planned.

Luís Neves spoke of "decades of disinvestment" in the PSP infrastructure in the region. The minister recognized that the situation will not be resolved immediately, warning that it will not be possible to fix all the problems "overnight".

Minister says Brussels supports public participation in REN for "greater security"
