The Discovery Ribatejo – Walking Festival takes place for the first time between September 13 and November 15, traversing trails through 11 municipalities in Ribatejo. The event invites participants to explore rural landscapes, villages, streams, historical heritage, traditions and local flavors of the region.
The festival is organized by Corklands and integrated into the annual calendar of the Regional Tourism Entity of Alentejo and Ribatejo. It also has the support of Turismo de Portugal, reinforcing the strategy to promote the territory to national and international visitors.
The initiative aims to establish Ribatejo as a must-visit destination for those seeking nature, physical activity and authentic cultural experiences. Over several weeks, the event will cross the 11 municipalities of the region, showcasing the best of Ribatejo's nature, heritage and culture.
