The Spanish Government will appoint Leire Iglesias as the new Secretary of State for Housing and Urban Agenda. Iglesias is currently president of Casa 47, a state housing entity. This change represents a reorganization at the top of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda.

Maribel Ramos will assume the presidency of Casa 47 replacing Iglesias. Until now, Ramos held the position of General Director of the Affordable Housing Park of the public company, thus accumulating more responsibilities with this new appointment.

The changes occur in the structure of the Ministry led by the socialist Isabel Rodríguez, which oversees the housing and urban planning area in the Spanish executive. The information was first reported by Ejeprime and later confirmed by sources from the Ministry itself.

The reorganization of the Casa 47 leadership is part of a broader context of changes in the leadership of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda, which aims to strengthen the management of the Government's housing policy.
