NOVA University inaugurates new research hub in the area of music in Mafra

NOVA University of Lisbon inaugurated a new research hub dedicated to music, art and technology in Mafra. The space, called NOVA Mafra – Music, Art and Technology, will be housed in the Torreão Sul of the National Palace of Mafra.

The new research hub will be next to the National Museum of Music, establishing a proximity between academic and research activities and a reference museum space in the musical field.

According to the article, the project also plans for future proximity to the National Sound Archive, which will strengthen the connection between research, preservation and access to Portuguese musical heritage.
