The National Federation of Teachers (Fenprof) reported that 2,650 positions offered in schools remain unfilled, corresponding to more than 50 thousand teaching hours. The situation arises just days before the start of the school year.
Fenprof has been warning about this issue, considering that the number of unfilled positions is significantly high and represents a failure in the organization of the education system.
The union emphasizes that this situation impacts both students, who may be left without teachers, and teachers who wish to enter the profession.
The start of the school year approaches without assurance that all teaching staff needs in schools will be covered.
