Nine European secondary school students took part in a Mars mission simulation in Monsaraz, Portugal. The activity gave young people practical experience about the challenges and procedures involved in a space expedition.
The objective of this initiative is to bring the future of space exploration to schools, awakening young people's interest in this scientific field. The students had the opportunity to experience situations similar to those that astronauts face during space missions.
Monsaraz was the chosen location to host this simulation, providing a suitable environment for the activity. The participation of students from different European countries enriched the experience with diverse perspectives.
