Visiting Assistant Professor João Silva Nunes, from the Institute of Biomedical Sciences Abel Salazar (ICBAS) at the University of Porto, was distinguished with the Miriam Friedman Ben-David Award. This accolade is granted by an international association and recognizes the professor's career and contribution to education in health professions.
João Silva Nunes is also a member of the executive committee of the Biomedical Simulation Office at ICBAS, having dedicated his career to training and education in the health sector.
