AD Nogueirense player Bruno Kajé suffered a serious injury to his left knee during the match against Naval 1893, held last Sunday (30), for the first round of the Portuguese Cup. The 28-year-old left-back had to be treated on the pitch after the incident occurred.
On the same day as the injury, the club president, Márcio Henriques, confirmed the severity of the situation to Boa Nova Radio. The official revealed that Bruno Kajé underwent surgery as a result of the left knee injury.
The incident occurred during a match in the first round of the Portuguese Cup, a competition that involves clubs from different divisions of Portuguese football. Naval 1893 was the opposing team in this encounter.
