In Nepal there is a situation of climate injustice, this being a country that contributed little to global pollution. The conclusion is based on the analysis of scientific data on climate change affecting Nepalese territory.

Data and satellite images documenting the accelerated loss of glacial mass in various regions of the country were examined. This scientific analysis allowed quantifying the impact of climate change on Nepalese glaciers.

Mountainous valleys such as Langtang and the Everest region were identified as areas particularly affected by glacial deterioration. In these zones, glaciers are retreating significantly and at an accelerated pace.
