Macarena Olona, former Vox leader, joined the firm of renowned criminal lawyer José Antonio Choclán, her cousin. Choclán is a well-known criminal lawyer whose firm represents various prominent clients.

Among the firm's clients are singer Julio Iglesias and businessman Víctor de Aldama, recently sentenced to four and a half years in prison. However, Aldama managed to avoid serving the prison sentence.

This outcome contrasts with the case of former Transport Ministry director José Luis Ábalos and his right-hand man, Koldo García, whom the Supreme Court sentenced to 24 and 19 and a half years in prison respectively.
