Koindredi leaves Sporting and signs for Lausanne

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo1 September 2026 at 09:20

Koindredi leaves Sporting and signs for Lausanne, in a permanent transfer. The Portuguese midfielder, who was linked to the club from Alvalade, thus leaves the lion's formation after a passage without much prominence in the main squad.

The 23-year-old player will continue his career in Switzerland, joining Lausanne. This transfer comes after a season in which the midfielder was on loan to Basel, another Swiss club.

During the loan to Basel, Koindredi played 28 games, which allowed him to gain competitive rhythm and experience in Swiss football, factors that would have weighed in Lausanne's decision to sign him permanently.

With this change, Koindredi abandons Sporting after never having managed to establish himself in the main squad of the lions, now opting for a new sporting project in the Swiss championship.
