The PSP flagged 284 elderly people in situations of social risk during the "Solidarity Has No Age" operation, which is taking place across the national territory. This was the 14th edition of the operation, which runs until September 25.
The initiative focuses on preventing vulnerability and social isolation of people over 65. PSP agents identified and reported cases of seniors who are in situations of greater fragility.
The objective of the operation is to ensure that elderly people at risk are referred to the competent entities, so that they receive the necessary follow-up and support. This action takes place throughout the country and involves PSP police stations across Portuguese territory.
