Nottingham Forest has loaned centre-back Morato to West Ham United until the end of the season. The Brazilian player, who had been linked to the English club since January 2024, will now represent the Hammers during the rest of the championship.
Morato was a player at Benfica before transferring to Nottingham Forest. At the Portuguese club, the centre-back acted as a central defender and gained experience in the Portuguese League and in European competitions.
With this loan transfer, Morato will strengthen the West Ham United team, currently managed by Portuguese coach Nuno Espírito Santo. The Portuguese coach now has another option for the defensive sector of his team.
This loan represents an opportunity for the Brazilian player to regain competitive rhythm in the Premier League, where he can help West Ham achieve their objectives for the current season.
