Anderlecht abandoned the negotiations for the signing of Santi García. The talks between the Belgian club and Gil Vicente took place until early morning, but no agreement was reached.
The Belgians did not come close to the values that Gil Vicente wanted for the 21-year-old midfielder. The Portuguese club maintained its demands and did not make significant concessions.
Santi García will therefore continue at Gil Vicente, where he has a contract until 2027. The young Spanish midfielder has been an important piece in the roosters' team this season.
