The PSP Madeira Regional Command celebrates today its 148th anniversary, in a ceremony that features the presence of the Minister of Internal Administration, Luís Neves. The government official presides over the festivities that mark this historic date for the Public Security Police in the region.
Luís Neves is taking advantage of this trip to Madeira to carry out an official visit that runs from August 30 to September 1. During this period, the minister is touring various PSP and GNR facilities in the region.
In addition to the security forces, Luís Neves is also visiting other operational infrastructure on the island. Among them, the Regional Civil Protection Service stands out, which is part of the minister's visit itinerary during this stay in Madeira.
This visit by the Minister of Internal Administration to Madeira comes in the context of the celebrations of the regional PSP anniversary, allowing the government official to see firsthand the work carried out by the security forces and civil protection on the island.
