The European Union confirmed the blocking of imports of Brazilian animal products starting Thursday. The suspension covers beef, poultry, and fish from Brazil.

The decision was made due to unresolved safety issues. Specifically, Brazil failed to comply with European requirements regarding the use of antimicrobials in animals destined for export.

With this measure, the European bloc aims to guarantee food safety for its consumers, imposing stricter standards for products imported from third countries.

US oil reserves are at the lowest level since 1982
