Man City opens talks for Enzo Fernández

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo31 August 2026 at 21:40

Manchester City has initiated talks with Chelsea for the possible transfer of Argentine midfielder Enzo Fernández. The English club has shown interest in the player and opened formal negotiations with the blues.

Discussions between the two clubs have reportedly taken place, but the rumor has yet to be officially confirmed. So far, no figures have been disclosed for a potential transfer.

Enzo Fernández plays as a midfielder and is an international for Argentina, having gained worldwide recognition after winning the 2022 Qatar World Cup. The player joined Chelsea in January 2023 for a substantial fee.

Manchester City is looking to strengthen their midfield in the transfer window, but any deal will depend on an agreement between the two Premier League clubs.
