Electricity fails again in Benicàssim: second blackout in two days

Benicàssim suffered this Monday a new interruption in electricity supply, just 24 hours after the blackout that affected a large part of the municipality. The incident was registered in different areas of the town and the beach.

At first, the power cut left approximately 8,000 customers without electricity. The authorities and emergency services are monitoring the situation to restore the service as quickly as possible.

This second blackout occurs in a context of recent problems in the electricity supply in the region, which has generated concern among local residents and traders. The causes of this new incident have not yet been fully clarified.
