Harvey Elliott loaned by Liverpool to Valencia

Dia de Jogo — jornal desportivo31 August 2026 at 19:11

Harvey Elliott, 23-year-old English midfielder, leaves Liverpool to play for Valencia, in Spain, for one season. The young player, who came through Fulham's academy and was signed by Liverpool in 2019, is thus looking for more playing time after a season with few opportunities at the English club.

The loan is without a purchase option clause, which means Elliott will return to Liverpool at the end of the 2024/25 season. This transfer represents the player's first experience outside of England in his professional career.

At Liverpool, Elliott made 26 appearances last season, but with very little effective playing time. The move to La Liga arises as an opportunity for the player to regain his starting spot and show his potential in a different competitive context.
