Around 150 children participated in the "Férias Vivas 2026" project, an initiative that took place during the months of July and August. The activity was developed in seven Community Centers of IHM, the entity responsible for organizing the program.
The project aimed to provide leisure activities and occupation during the school holiday period for children in the region. The Community Centers served as welcoming spaces for participants throughout the entire summer.
The program included diverse recreational and educational activities designed to keep the children engaged during the summer break. The diversity of spaces allowed for participants from different areas to be included.
The "Férias Vivas 2026" project ended today with a catamaran trip, providing a different and memorable experience for the participating children as a closing to the summer activities.
