Rosalina Santos helps Portugal win new gold at Taranto'2026

Portugal's women's 4x100 meters relay won the gold medal at the Taranto2026 Mediterranean Games, held in the Italian city. The Portuguese team, composed of Rosalina Santos, Catarina Lourenço, Beatriz Castelhano and Arialis Martínez, completed the final with a time of 43.57 seconds.

Greece finished in second place, winning silver with 43.61 seconds, while Turkiye finished in third place to secure bronze with 44.05 seconds.

This victory represents Portugal's tenth gold at the Mediterranean Games in Taranto. In total, the Portuguese national Mission now has 24 medals at the competition held in the Italian city.
