Employees at Brazilian consulates and embassies around the world have begun a protest by wearing black clothing to demonstrate their dissatisfaction with their working conditions and remuneration.
The professionals involved are more than 3.4 thousand local hires who work at Brazilian diplomatic representations spread across the world.
The main demands include updating salary earnings, creating a career and salary plan, and guaranteeing retirement contributions for the workers.
The movement represents a coordinated mobilization among employees from different countries who seek better conditions and professional recognition from the Brazilian government.
