The Ministry allocates 4.4 million euros to UJI to build affordable rental housing for the university community

The Spanish Ministry of Housing and Urban Agenda will allocate 4,455,000 euros to finance Jaume I University's project to build affordable rental apartments for the university community. This amount is part of a total investment of 45 million euros that the ministry is distributing across seven similar projects throughout Spain.

The main objective of this initiative is to expand the housing supply for students, teaching and research staff at the university. It aims to facilitate academic mobility and reduce pressure on the rental market in the university city.

The information was announced by the ministry itself in a communication made on Monday, specifying the amounts and goals of the program to support affordable university housing in Spain.
