Quaest began on Sunday, August 30, a new round of polling on presidential voting intentions, with results expected on Wednesday, September 2. The survey plans in-person interviews with 2,004 Brazilians until Tuesday, September 1. It is Quaest's tenth presidential poll this year, and the second in a series commissioned by Grupo Globo, which includes O GLOBO and TV Globo.
This will be the first survey capable of capturing voters' reactions to the interviews given by the candidates on TV Globo. The poll comes at an important moment in the electoral race, after the candidates' interview on the network.
Datafolha, on its part, will release on next Thursday, September 3, the institute's first poll on the presidential race also after the series of interviews of the candidates on TV Globo. Just like Quaest's poll, Datafolha's survey will seek to measure the impact of the interviews on voters' perception of the candidates for the Presidency of the Republic in 2026.
