José Carlos Pinto, an athlete from Lagares da Beira, was selected by the Portuguese Athletics Federation (FPA) to participate in the Road World Championships.
The competition will be held in Copenhagen, Denmark, on September 19 and 20.
Pinto represents the Portuguese national team in this international road race event.
The selection comes after the current athletics season, being part of the group of Portuguese athletes selected to represent the country in the Danish event.
