Huawei reinforces health monitoring bet on research platform and reveals Watch D3 with medical certification to measure blood pressure

Huawei announced the reinforcement of its health monitoring bet through a research platform called Terve Research, which results from a partnership with the company Thryve. This platform is intended for health studies at European scale.

The brand also revealed the Watch D3 smartwatch, which has CE certification for ambulatory blood pressure monitoring. This device represents an advance in the offering of wearables with medical functionalities.

The Watch D3 has a scheduled launch for September 2, the date when Huawei will also present the new generation of Watch GT 7. This double launch demonstrates the company's strategy to expand its capabilities in the wearable devices segment for health.
