The Brazilian company OLHO Móveis Autorais won four awards at the 2026 edition of the A' Design Award & Competition, one of the main international awards dedicated to product design. The pieces Ebisu, Takumi, Tokyo and Nara, developed by designer Isabelle De Mari, creative director of the brand, were recognized by the award.
Held annually in Italy, the A' Design Award brings together projects from different countries and evaluates criteria related to design quality, innovation, functionality, research, technical execution, and cultural impact. The four projects present distinct furniture proposals, but share in common development based on formal and constructive research.
The pieces explore different relationships between materials, proportions, volumes, and elements of contemporary culture, translated into solutions focused on furniture. For Isabelle De Mari, the recognition also highlights the possibility of design produced in Brazil reaching international circuits.
