A 29-year-old man was arrested by the PSP in Figueira da Foz for carrying an air weapon resembling a revolver. The incident occurred in the middle of the city's shopping mall, during the day.

The authorities were alerted to the presence of the individual who was openly walking around with the weapon on his waist. The PSP went to the location and proceeded to identify and arrest the suspect.

The weapon was seized by the authorities. It was an air weapon that imitated the appearance of a real revolver, although without the capacity to fire lethal projectiles.

The man was made a defendant and now faces legal proceedings related to carrying a prohibited weapon in a public space. The case had inevitable contours given the visibility and audacity of the act.
