Coimbra's center is preparing for a significant change in how people move around the city. The Metrobus will start serving the areas of Coimbra-B and Praça da República from September, integrating these areas into the city's mobility system.
The Coimbra-B and Praça da República stations will thus become part of the Metrobus route, expanding the coverage of the public transport system in the central area of the municipality. This expansion represents an investment in improving the city's urban mobility.
The implementation of these new stops on the Metrobus circuit is part of a broader plan to restructure mobility in Coimbra, seeking to offer more efficient transportation alternatives to citizens and visitors who travel through the historic and central area of the city.
