Genk signs Tahirovic, approached by FC Porto

The 23-year-old Bosnian midfielder Benjamin Tahirovic left Brøndby and signed for Genk for four seasons. The young player, who was playing in Denmark, decided to transfer to the Belgian club to continue his career.

FC Porto showed interest in the player and even followed him during this transfer window. However, it was Genk who managed to secure the signing of the Bosnian midfielder.

Tahirovic will represent Genk for the next four seasons, joining the Belgian club's team. This signing represents a reinforcement for the midfield of Genk's squad.
