Mercadona is preparing another opening in Portugal. The Spanish chain confirmed the installation of a new store in Casal do Marco, with opening scheduled for 2027.
With this opening, Mercadona will reinforce its presence on the south bank of the Tagus, an area where the chain did not yet have representation. This expansion is part of the company's continued growth strategy in Portuguese territory.
Casal do Marco will thus be the next location to receive a commercial surface from the Spanish chain, which has been expanding consistently throughout the country since its entry into Portugal.
