The Intermunicipal Community (CIM) of Beira Baixa will promote, next Saturday, September 5th, a session dedicated to enhancing the region's endogenous products. The initiative focuses primarily on the combination of Queijos da Beira Baixa PDO cheeses and Vinhos da Beira Interior wines, two reference gastronomic products of the region.
The session is integrated into the EEC PROVERE Queijos Centro de Portugal project, which aims precisely to promote and enhance the traditional and quality products of the central region of the country. This type of initiative is part of a broader strategy for enhancing the territory and its endogenous resources.
The Queijos da Beira Baixa have Protected Designation of Origin status, which attests to their quality and territorial connection, while the Vinhos da Beira Interior represent a prestigious wine production of the region. The combination of both aims to create a gastronomic experience that highlights the best of Beira cuisine and oenology.
