Lemon with unusual shape harvested at Levada do Cavalo to be analyzed by GESBA

A lemon with a particularly unusual appearance was harvested in the garden of José Luís dos Reis, in the Levada do Cavalo area. The fruit immediately draws attention due to its size and, above all, its uncommon shape. The lemon features a quite voluminous upper part, from which an elongated structure extends, while maintaining the characteristic texture and coloring of a citrus fruit's rind. The fruit will now be sent for laboratory analysis at GESBA, the company responsible for the analysis and promotion of the region's citrus fruits.
