Striker David Corrêa, known as DVD, from Vasco da Gama, gave testimony at the 14th Police District, in Leblon, in Rio de Janeiro's South Zone, on Monday (31). The player was targeted by a search and seizure warrant during an operation investigating a criminal organization with interstate activity, suspected of involvement in drug and arms trafficking.

Upon leaving the police station, around 9:40 a.m., David Corrêa stated he was "late for training," showing concern about his routine at the club. The operation also executed warrants at Vasco's Training Center, in Jacarepaguá, in Rio's West Zone.

The targets of the warrants include addresses in Barra da Tijuca, Vargem Grande, and Jacarepaguá. At the player's residence, Civil Police agents conducted searches during the operation. The investigation stems from work by the Civil Police of Espírito Santo, which is looking into the criminal organization's activities in the region.
