Beneficiaries of the 2026 Pé-de-Meia program born in November and December receive on Monday, the 31st, another installment of the school attendance incentive. For regular high school students, this is the fifth installment of the program. High school students in youth and adult education (EJA), who are also beneficiaries of the program, will have today's deposit for the installment referring to the approval of formation cycles and completion of this final stage of basic education.
In both cases, it is necessary to achieve at least 80% attendance in classes to receive payment. The program functions as a savings incentive to encourage students to stay in school and complete their studies.
The payment of the attendance incentive occurs differently between the modalities. In EJA high school, the student receives up to four attendance incentive installments worth R$ 225 each, totaling up to eight attendance installments per year. In regular high school, students receive up to nine attendance installments per year, each worth R$ 200.
