Officers from the 12th Police Station (Copacabana) arrested trans woman Wilker William Cardozo da Silva, known by the social name Ivy on a dating app, on accusations of practicing extortion against a man. A second trans woman identified as Brenda is also pointed out as a participant in the crime.
According to the investigation, after the end of a sexual encounter in Copacabana, the victim was surprised with a demand for payment of R$ 1,500. Upon informing that he only had R$ 300 available, the man began to suffer threats.
The victim was subdued with the application of a chokehold, a strangulation move, and threatened with a knife. Under coercion, he was forced to open banking apps and type passwords, resulting in multiple PIX transfers that totaled R$ 14,504.20.
The investigations revealed that Ivy deposited R$ 7.5 thousand in an account opened with falsified documentation in another person's name. Brenda received R$ 6.5 thousand in her own account.
