Airbus workforce rejects temporarily suspending the strike with 81% of votes

The Airbus workers in Spain rejected temporarily suspending the indefinite strike, with 81% of votes cast against the suspension. The vote took place this Monday at various work centers of the company.

Airbus had requested the temporary suspension of the strike to continue negotiations with the workers, but the proposal was not approved by the overwhelming majority of employees.

The indefinite strike had been called by the unions CGT, UGT and USO, which represent the aerospace company's workers in Spain.

Thus, the workers of Airbus España will maintain the strike in effect, after the result of the vote that rejected the temporary suspension proposed by the company.
