On Tuesday (1st), Penha hosts a free wellness action aimed at seniors, promoted by the Rio que Cuida project. The event will take place from 9am to 1pm, lasting four hours, at Casa de Convivência Carmen Miranda, at Largo da Penha, and is open to elderly residents from Penha and surrounding areas.
The space will offer various health services and therapies, including massage therapy, auriculotherapy, physiotherapy, kinesiotherapy, lymphatic drainage, foot reflexology, foot spa, and hot stone application. All activities are focused on care and quality of life for participants.
In addition to therapies, the program includes physical activities that stimulate movement and socialization, such as stretching sessions, ballroom dancing, and tai chi chuan. The latter is a practice that combines slow movements, breathing, and balance. The beauty area is also part of the services offered during the event.
