Vasco player and ex-Santos player investigated with criminal group called themselves 'A Tropa'

The Vasco player David Corrêa, known as DVD, and the former Santos youth player Renyer Oliveira are among those investigated in the operation carried out on Monday that investigates a criminal organization with interstate activity. The group called themselves "A Tropa" and is suspected of involvement with drug and arms trafficking, as well as possible links to a criminal faction.

The operation included the execution of four temporary arrest warrants and 15 search and seizure orders. The operations were carried out in municipalities in Greater Vitória and also in Afonso Cláudio, in Espírito Santo.

David Corrêa was subject to searches during the operation, while Renyer Oliveira was detained in São Paulo during the execution of the warrant, for accusations of disrespect and resistance to police action.
