Beer production in the European Union fell by 0.7% in 2025, totalling 34.4 billion litres.

Germany was the largest European producer, with 7.4 billion litres, representing 21.6% of sold production in the EU.

Portugal produced 819 million litres of beer, corresponding to 2% of total European Union production.
