The Civil Police carried out on Monday an operation against a criminal organization operating across state lines, investigated for drug and arms trafficking and possible links to a criminal faction. The action is the result of investigations by the Espírito Santo Civil Police.
Striker David Corrêa, from Vasco, is one of the targets of the operation. Agents searched the player's apartment and also served warrants at the club's Training Center, in Jacarepaguá, in the Southwest Zone of Rio.
The warrants are also being served at addresses in Barra da Tijuca and in Vargem Grande, also in the Southwest Zone of Rio. A Santos player was arrested in São Paulo during the operation, according to Bom Dia Rio, from TV Globo.
