Stable labor market. Unemployment unchanged between June and July

The Portuguese labor market continues to show signs of stability. According to data released this Monday by the National Statistics Institute (INE), the unemployment rate stood at 5.7% in July.

This value is identical to that of the previous month, June, thus remaining stable. Furthermore, the unemployment rate is only 0.1 percentage points below that recorded a year ago.
