Spanish woman dies after fire in a hotel in Fatima

A 63-year-old woman, of Spanish nationality, died in the early hours of this Monday following a fire that broke out in a room of a hotel in Fatima. The alert for the fire was given at 00:39.

The flames caused the evacuation of 52 people who were in the hotel establishment. The authorities were called to intervene at the scene.

Centro TV reported the incident, which occurred in one of the hotel units in the Fatima area, a destination frequently sought by pilgrims and tourists. The causes of the fire have not yet been specified in the news.
