The body of a woman was found on August 30th in an advanced state of decomposition, in Eira Vedra, in Vila Cova da Lixa. The woman was discovered in her own home.

At this time, there are no suspicions of crime. The situation is being handled by the competent authorities.

The Voluntary Firefighters of Lixa went to the scene to provide assistance. The local GNR was also present at the scene of the facts.

The GNR is currently investigating the case to determine the circumstances of the death.
