Condominium Manager Embezzled 60 Thousand Euros

A 50-year-old woman, resident in Condeixa, was charged with having embezzled approximately 60 thousand euros belonging to property owners of building fractions in Soure. The suspect used her position as condominium manager to access the amounts from the fees paid by the condominium owners.

The embezzled money was intended for the payment of common expenses of the condominiums, such as water, electricity, and maintenance. However, the accused diverted the funds for personal use, leaving these obligations unfulfilled.

The authorities are now investigating the scheme that may have been ongoing for several years. The woman was made a suspect within the framework of this process that involves alleged crimes of misappropriation of common condominium funds.
