The PRR deadline, Recovery and Resilience Plan, ends this Monday. The Government guarantees that 100% of the established milestones for this phase of the plan will be met.
The national plan includes an allocation of approximately 22.2 billion euros, distributed across 44 reforms and 117 investments. This value represents one of the largest financing programs attributed to Portugal in the context of European economic recovery.
The PRR is a program financed by European funds aimed at supporting Member States after the pandemic crisis. Portugal submitted its plan to the European authorities and committed to fulfilling a series of structural reforms and public investments within specific deadlines.
With the confirmation of 100% execution of the milestones, Portugal avoids financial penalties and demonstrates compliance with the commitments made to the European Commission for this first phase of the program.
