The satellite in question weighs 3.8 tonnes and will be transported into space via an Ariane 6 rocket. Both components — the rocket and the satellite — were prepared together until they arrived at the launch pad of the European Space Port, located in French Guiana.
The main objective of this mission is to enable atmospheric monitoring to help avoid natural disasters, providing crucial meteorological data for the prevention of extreme weather events on the European continent.
