The Macau Red Cross announced that it will donate the equivalent of 171,380 euros to support the victims of the flash floods that occurred in the Tibet region and neighboring Nepal. The humanitarian organization decided to mobilize these funds to help the populations affected by this natural catastrophe that hit both regions on Wednesday.
The donated amount will be directed to the areas that suffered the impacts of the sudden floods, allowing local communities to be helped in dealing with this emergency situation. The Macau Red Cross thus responded to the call for international solidarity in the face of the devastating effects of the flash floods.
The local authorities of both regions now face the challenge of rebuilding the affected areas and providing assistance to families who lost their homes and livelihoods. This donation from the Macau Red Cross is part of the international humanitarian support that has been provided to the victims of this tragedy.
